Being with horses (and mules in my case) makes me forget about my problems. It is truly therapeutic and wonderful. Knowing and being supported by other women who have been affected by breast cancer and understand the healing power of horses is not only comforting but helps remove the isolation one feels living with this disease. I’m so fortunate to have horses in my life and so appreciate the support and care of this community. I serendipitously met Lily while she was riding in a local park and I was hiking. What a beautiful coincidence. And now she has created Gallop for Life, because she understands the need for support and the love of horses. What a special gift!

I was so taken aback when I received a gift basket from gallop for life. The sentiment was so lovely. I get so many comments on my socks and I especially loved the hand made and “clean” soap! It’s so nice to know us horse women have so much support form this lovely organization!
